The School of Art and Design proudly presents the annual Rickert-Ziebold Trust Awards. The award aims to honor and reward our outstanding graduating seniors. The award is made possible through the generosity of the late Joseph Rickert family. Mr. Rickert, a prominent lawyer and State Senator from Waterloo, Illinois, enjoyed a personal interest in the Arts. This award, established in the Rickert family's memory, supports and encourages that tradition of excellence. Because of their vision, love of art, and confidence in the future, we are able to distribute cash awards to outstanding Rickert-Ziebold scholars annually.

Each year, seniors in the School of Art and Design are invited to participate in the selection process. The School of Art and Design faculty judge their presentations on the basis of performance and excellence in creative achievement. The winners are announced at an awards ceremony at the opening of the exhibition.
